This was my first time at Philay's and everything was absolutely amazing! I had a shrimp and lima bean baked potato that was so creamy and delicious. My friend had shrimp alfredo with a side of mashed sweet potatoes. She said she never had a meal she enjoyed so much. She had been there before a long time ago and said that the food was 'definitely better on a whole new level'. (her words) Our server, Julienne, was sweet, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. I could see that she was that way with her other tables as well. I will definitely be back soon and often, and will tell others about it! (Sorry the picture isn't better! Didn't take it till I had mixed it all up! I promise it was presented beautifully!)
The food is great and the prices for food are reasonable. The restaurant is clean and the service is great.

Best shrimp crab and okra gumbo that I have had out in a while. Seafood platter seasoned and fried to perfection. Stumbled across this restaurant on our way back from Lafayette to New Orleans! Definitely will be on our list to return. Very clean and service was excellent
This place is so good! I could show you pictures of what we ordered but instead, I'm going to show you a picture of our 'to go' box. I truly can't recommend this place enough! We ordered the crew of krab and the crab Au gratin, I'll Add the pics just so you can see but I truly believe that the 'to go' box says it all!
Food was great, hot and fresh. Server was quick and attentive. Live music when we went on a Saturday night.
Seafood gumbo and 1/2 shrimp poboy was perfect. Fried shrimp falling out of the poboy. Bread was fresh and soft just as I like it. Quick service and polite servers. Looking forward to returning and trying something else.
Reid was a great waiter. Unbelievable restaurant. Best queso I have ever had (came with crab and , best hush puppies, top 3 crab cake, top 3 grilled catfish. White chocolate pudding made by the owner’s mom was also unreal. What an absolute find on our way through town. Even if it’s an hour detour driving through on I10. We will be back.
